A small indie game with dynamic first-person gameplay.
The game was made in 2019. I made it by accident when I was developing one of my assets for Unity and got too carried away. I was digging through my backups the other day and found it. I brought it into a kind of finalized form and decided to share it, since the game, although simple, but it amuses me with its dynamics.
For eons, the Straightorns had harbored jealousy and resentment towards the Curvedhorns for their extraordinary wings. They viewed the ability to fly as a privilege that only they deserved, and this led to escalating tensions between the two races. The Curvedhorns, being a peaceful society, had tried to reason with the Straightorns, seeking harmony and understanding, but their efforts fell on deaf ears.
One fateful day, the Straightorns launched a devastating attack on the planet of the Curvedhorns. Their formidable warships descended from the stars, unleashing destruction upon the once tranquil world. The Curvedhorns fought bravely, defending their home with all their might, but the overwhelming strength of the Straightorns was too much to bear. The Curvedhorn's planet was ravaged, leaving only a few survivors.
Among the ruins was Princess Hildens, the last hope of the Curvedhorns. Captured by the Straightorns, she was taken to a sinister cosmic altar, a place rumored to be used for sacrificial offerings to a deadly space virus. The Straightorns intended to make an example of her and strike fear into the hearts of the surviving Curvedhorns.
However, as fate would have it, a single military vessel, named Sinternai, had managed to evade the onslaught and escape the destruction. Its crew was determined to save their princess and bring an end to this senseless war. With their hearts full of courage and hope, they set out on a daring mission across the stars.
